We are committed to providing a place of belonging for Lakeway Area youth and invite them to experience the love of Jesus.
What is Avenue Youth?
Avenue Youth is the youth ministry of the Avenue Church. We exist to provide a place of belonging for Middle School and High School students to come as they are, find community, and encounter the life changing love of Jesus. We meet through weekly services and life groups.
Q: What is the purpose of Avenue Youth?
A: Our purpose as a youth ministry is to give students a place to gather and pursue Jesus together. We believe ‘Our Time is Now’ and we are here to encourage students in their walk with Jesus and challenge them to grow in their identity as sons and daughters of God and discover their God-given call to change the world…. starting with themselves.
Q: When does Avenue Youth meet?
A: We meet weekly on Wednesdays in the Avenue Youth Auditorium from 6:30pm-8pm. Check our Youth social media pages for info on special events and any schedule changes.
Q: What is the flow of a Youth service?
A: We begin service at 6:30pm with a time of fun and connection, and from there we move on to a time of worship led by our student worship team, and then come together to listen to an impactful message from one of our amazing youth leaders!
Q: How can my child become more involved in Avenue Youth?
A: Apart from just attending service on Wednesday nights, we have Youth Life Groups available as well as Youth Dream Teams that your child can join to make deeper connections with our leaders and students as well as discover more about their strengths and talents as they serve. (Please note, there are no requirements to join a life group, but students must attend and complete Growth Track before signing up to serve on a Dream Team.)
