Dagan is a native of Morristown and his passion is to see the people and businesses of the Lakeway Area thrive. The most important piece of that, of course, is for them all to have a personal relationship with Jesus. As Director of Marketing and Online Campus, Dagan gets to let as many people as possible know about The Avenue and all the incredible things God is doing here. The first impression most people have of The Avenue is through social media and/or watching a worship experience online, so he sees getting to play a part in that first point of contact as a great honor and responsibility.

In his spare time Dagan enjoys sports, movies, collecting sports cards and comic books (keeping the collection just below the threshold where his lovely wife says, “We’ve got to get some of this junk out of here!”). His favorite activity of all is spending time doing pretty much anything with his family and friends.

Dagan graduated from Morristown West (go Trojans), received his A.A.S. in Computer Science from Walters State Community College, and his Bachelors in Management & Leadership Studies from Lincoln Memorial University. He is blessed to get to call the amazing Sarah (Rouse) Smith his wife. He also has the honor to call 2 of the greatest guys in the world his sons. Taylor and his wife, Braetyn, proudly serve in the United States Navy and are stationed in Norfolk, VA. Sawyer is a freshman at Carson-Newman in Jefferson City, TN. The Smiths have a dog, Nugget, that lives under the illusion he is the head of the household.
